MOVE IN NOVEMBER 2007!
Welton Place Project Update:

The 24th Street Townhomes, a phase of the Green Built Welton Place Project, is on track to be Move in Ready several months ahead of Schedule. Bill Verdon with Kentwood City Properties and one of the exclusive marketing brokers for the WSP, attributes this to the efficiency of the builder and the weather. “We’ve had phenomenal luck with the weather this summer. It’s really allowed the build crew to dig in and get the job done.” Bill said in an exclusive interview. Referring to the builder, Taylor Khors, he told us, “These guys have really done a great job for us. They are always here and always working. It’s great to find a company like that.”
The Luxury 24th Street Townhomes weren’t scheduled to be complete until February of 2008. As of this writing they will be ready for occupancy as of November 2007, a full 3 months ahead of schedule.
The entire team, from the developer to the brokers, is extremely excited to offer the public this beautiful product in a timely manner.

The impact of global warming has brought to the forefront the desperate need of the global community to lessen the impact of human civiliation on the planet. A challenge was put to builders and developers all over the world to lighten the footprint of construction itself. Due to rising carbon emmissions and material production, the impact of building can be staggering.
In the United States, buildings account for:
39 % of total energy use
12 % of the total water consumption
68 % of total electricity consumption
38 % of the carbon dioxide emissions
The built environment has a vast impact on the environment, human health, and the economy. By adopting green building strategies, we can maximize both economic and environmental performance. Green construction methods can be integrated into buildings at any stage, from design and construction, to renovation and deconstruction. However, the most significant benefits can be obtained if the design and construction team takes an integrated approach from the earliest stages of a building project. Century Developement and PacifiCap Properties in association with Bill Verdon and Andrew Gonzales of Kentwood City Properties are leading the charge in the Denver market to meet the challenge of Building Green. The Welton Pace Project is an environmentally friendly, energy saving developement.
Potential benefits of green building can include:
Environmental benefits
- Enhance and protect biodiversity and ecosystems
- Improve air and water quality
- Reduce waste streams
- Conserve and restore natural resources
Economic benefits
- Reduce operating costs
- Create, expand, and shape markets for green product and services
- Improve occupant productivity
- Optimize life-cycle economic performance
Social benefits
- Enhance occupant comfort and health
- Heighten aesthetic qualities
- Minimize strain on local infrastructure
- Improve overall quality of life
